How to make a keyword search?

Updated over 2 months ago

The JobAffinity search engine allows you to combine several keywords to refine your results using simple rules known as Boolean logic.

Rules to know

1. Search for multiple words at once If you type several words separated by a space, the engine looks for profiles that contain all the words. Example: commercial automobile → will display results containing both commercial AND automobile.

2. Search for an exact phrase If you want to search for an exact phrase, place it between quotation marks. Example:"commercial automobile" → will only display results where these two words follow each other in that specific order.

3. Search for one word or another To broaden your search to several possibilities, use the word OR in capital letters.Example: commercial OR representative → will display results containing either commercial or representative.

4. Combine multiple conditions You can also combine complex searches using parentheses. Example: (commercial OR representative) automobile → will display:

  • results containing commercial and automobile,

  • OR representative and automobile.
