To avoid saving advertising messages in the software (spam, job board information), replies to advertisements received by email that do not contain an attachment are not saved as applications.
We therefore forward the application email to the recruiter responsible for the position, adding the relevant job and application source. Depending on your email software, the original document transmitted by JobAffinity may be in the body of the email or as an attachment.
The recruiter thus has the necessary information to request more details from the candidate, or to ignore the email if it is not a legitimate application.
If you have a job board that sends you applications by email describing the candidate in the body of the email but without attaching the CV as a separate document, we can, upon your request, remove this setting for that specific site. JobAffinity will then process all emails as valid applications.
