Where can I set the retention period for applications?

You can define the application retention period for each of your organizations from the Admin > GDPR (RGPD)menu. By entering this retention period, you also activate the automatic deletion of candidates.

Can I set a specific period for candidates entered manually without GDPR consent?

Yes. It is possible to configure a distinct retention period for candidates entered manually for whom you have not yet obtained GDPR consent. This is also done from the Admin > GDPR (RGPD) menu for each organization.

What does the regulation say about the duration of candidate data retention?

In accordance with Article 6.5° of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) and Article 5 of the GDPR, personal data must only be kept for the duration strictly necessary for its purpose. The CNIL recommends a retention period not exceeding 2 years after the last contact with the candidate for recruitment data.
